How Did the Practice Begin?
It began in 2010 with a second-hand numerology book bought on SM Street in Kozhikode, picked up without any particular intention. The Lo Shu Grid chapter was the part that held — specifically the fact that the system is arithmetically constrained rather than open to interpretation at the structural level. Every row, column and diagonal sums to 15, and which cells your date of birth fills is not a matter of opinion.
Sixteen years of reading charts followed, mostly free readings for people who asked, alongside cross-referencing published works in the Indian Lo Shu lineage against each other. Sources in this field disagree more than they admit, particularly on Kua formulas and on which number groupings count as lines. Reconciling those disagreements is most of what the work has consisted of.
What Are the Qualifications?
Self-taught, with no institutional certification. There is no accredited body for Lo Shu Grid numerology, and any certificate in this field represents a private organisation’s own course rather than an external standard. Stating that plainly is more useful than implying credentials that do not exist.
What is verifiable is the method. Every formula this site uses is published in full on the calculation methodology page, so any result can be checked by hand. Where errors have been found, they are published there too, with dates — including the July 2026 Kua correction, which changed results for anyone born in January or early February.
What Is Being Claimed?
That the Lo Shu Grid is a structured way of reflecting on patterns — behavioural tendencies, recurring gaps, traditional timing cycles. Not that it predicts events, dates, amounts or outcomes.
Readers who find the framework useful generally find it useful as a mirror rather than a forecast. Readers who find it unconvincing are reasoning sensibly, and the honest response is to invite them to run their own date and judge the description against their own life rather than to argue the point.
